The W. Leo Daniels Foundation is an advocate of educational success. We have a team of qualified and certified educational instructors who have committed to assist us with the academic development of our children through our after-school tutorial program. We have a team of qualified adults available to help children master subjects which may be challenging for them. Additionally, we provide tools and resources to assist children’s academic success.
The W. Leo Daniels Foundation proudly offers a comprehensive youth and children’s mentoring program. Our research and development team has discovered when special attention, care and genuine concern is given to our children, they will demonstrate positive results academically, socially, and emotionally. Our team of experts will become role models for children and help educate them on socially acceptable practices, etiquette, and life skills which will be influential in the development of their foundational years.
Many children and young adults within our disadvantaged communities are not privy to the necessary financial or household support to continue their education after high school. The W. Leo Daniels Foundation has a scholarship program to assist aspiring students in our community to further their education. With the support of our partners and sponsors we are able to contribute resources to aid in higher education for our youth, children, and young adults. We understand the importance of having a healthy mental position. Here at the W. Leo Daniels Foundation, we provide a safe haven for individuals to express themselves with professional and certified counselors who will assist them in maintaining a healthy mental state while dealing with various life challenges. We recognize life’s uncertainties and hardships can be key factors in mental breakdowns for individuals and families. Therefore, we have developed counseling programs which will guide individuals into life changing transformation.
Rev. W. Leo Daniels had a special interest in the care of the aged and handicapped. He founded the W. Leo Daniels Tower, a 99-unit facility in the Greater Houston Area which provides housing for the aged and handicapped, which still exists today. With that same vision at heart, the W. Leo Daniels Foundation has various programs and activities to assist seniors with their needs and functionality. We provide goods, senior services, community functions, and activities which will help our seniors stay connected with society and other senior citizens. We seek to show our seniors how relevant they are to our society, and that we appreciate their shoulders in which we stand on.
The W. Leo Daniels Foundation’s Bill Payment Assistance Program provides limited emergency funds to residents who are in jeopardy of having their utility services interrupted. We understand how challenging it can be to identify resources during challenging times, therefore we also have various partners who provide resources to assist individuals with assistance in the community. Our support team will gladly provide the necessary qualifications to receive resources from our program and connect individuals with community agencies who also have programs in place to provide aide.
